Our Mission Statement

Our Accomplishments

 

• We sponsor informative workshops and frequent social events (for both adults & families).

• We launched a community garden in Spring '09.

• We regularly communicate with investors, realtors and property owners to spur other rehab and redevelopment projects in the neighborhood.

• We've helped elderly and needy neighbors bring their houses up to code, while also targeting dozens of problem properties.

• We worked with City officials to guide the Suburban Avenue streetscape project.

• We communicate frequently with local police and public works to address problems with juvenile crime, derilict properties, and other quality-of-life issues.

• Finally, we do lots of nice things for neighbors and others, including delivering holiday gift baskets, welcoming new residents, offering support during difficult times, and just generally making our community a nice place to be.
